lock/unlock items, share gems between items

    Played a game in which they sold locks and keys for items. When you locked an item, the item could not be dropped or melted unless unlocked (need to buy the unlock key). This may reduce support requests, or may increase them because people become less careless with their items.

    I would like to be able to switch to items depending on the situation, but need a set of gems for each item. It would be nice if i can share gems between multiple items. Instead of transferring the gems over by unlocking and putting them in, somehow figure out a way that u just put on the gear, and the gems get switched over automatically (hence why the lock/unlock feature would be needed). If you have an item that has 4 gems, and u witch to an item that has 3 sockets only, 3 gems would be replaced, while one item is left in the other item. If both gear have gems in, no witch would happen. Maybe only locked items can share gems.
