Even without spending any glyphs, it is still 1571 HP. Put that together with 50% HP from the wisdom tree and you are looking at 2357 HP gain from this shield. And by the time you do manage to upgrade it with 91M glyphs, you'd be getting 2121-->3182 with the 50%... That is pretty crazy. Plus, that is two nice lines and two ok lines... Imagine if all 4 lines were ~600 or more when upgraded to LVL 55... 2400-->3600 with 50%.

The problem is that DSO needs new players, which means getting more 5 to 10 hour a week F2P as well as premium only payers, and twinks are the reason why those people quit.

I like your stats but in every game goal is to be top end player, and you are not doing it. But with that much time and money you would be end game top player...so think about it

If they were better at repeat business, older players would stick around more. Unfortunately the link between poor quality and flight from game is elusive for them.

Here's my current stats before they get messed up. I've noticed that my 3rd ruby gave me +83 min/max, so my r155 game plan is to go all out on dmg and rely more so on dragons fury. I just find it strange that some gear can give a player lines of % crit/dmg. Who would want to go with %crit when %dmg gives a far more noticeable boost (unless %crit is added directly; 12% + 5% crit line = 17%). Like 5% of 2000 crit is +100 crit whereas 5% dmg of 2000 is 100 min/max dmg...

I'm also going to replace my red ess torso with a +997 armor and my boots with +1005 hp since I'll be losing a considerable amount of hp with this release.

Let me know of your thoughts and ideas on r155 dk builds.

So, basicly, you spend 16-18 hours a day so that you can pound on newbies that are trying to get into the game and you are ruining the experience for them. I'm sure there have been many a player who have quit PvP because of people like you. How would you feel if every time you stepped into the arena with your twink, you were facing someone like my LVL 45 DK? I would destroy you in one to two hits. Would that be fun for you? Of Course Not!... So what makes you think it is fun for them? Does it make you feel better to beat up on people who don't even stand a chance against you? All you are is a bully whose medium is a digital game. I have no respect for a player like that. Level up to max (now LVL 50 by the time you read this) then go showing off your Mad PvP Skills and stats when you are fighting people who could teach you a thing or two about how this game is played... with skill, not OP stats that you get from farming with XP blockers and spending tons of andermant on gems.

These people all hit it on the head. A majority of us more experienced on the forums have a rather dim view of twinks and bragging about how tough your twink is is like saying that you are the smartest guy who is failing school... you're doing something wrong.

You are not "the best of the bests" ... you are just a punk.

So, as we are all aware, this release sucked for 2H DKs, but I want to show you why it rocks for 1H DKs.
That is an effectiveness of 56.47%, meaning it effectively protects your HP such that it is as if you had 56.47% more HP.
Before this update, my effectiveness of the same build was 52.4%.

Even funnier, that 9926 rate is waaaaaay over kill. I could lose one of my 40% chance of block lines on the shield and still have 80%... that means that one of those lines could be HP, armor, or more block amount (now called block chance) and could further increase my survivability. Infact, If I was willing to spend the gold, I could move gems around and get 12500 hp, 4500 armor, and 1750 resistance along with those blocking stats... can you say "Ultimate Flag Carrier?" Well, too bad that PvP is no longer of any interest to me now that the skills are areana only.

Now the Wolf shield will be next to useless. It will easily max out the 80% rate, but with no additional block damage reduction, it will be 50% reduction on each hit for a max of 40% effectiveness. If combined with Warlord set, that could go up to 61.54% reduction and a 49.23% effectiveness, but it will never catch up to my +80% rate/+1.8 "Chance" shield at 56.47% effectiveness. Happy farming to all you suckers who depend on the Wolf shield and tried to convince me of it's usefulness in the now archived "Good Legend Shields" thread.

i still have my 98,6% block rate and 80% dmg reduction shield... but still didn't go to the locker to see the changes... should be 98,6% and 0.4+0.4... may be i have come back to shield.
BUT.. how do you get 9900 block rate? is quite far from the shield numbers... and the talent just gives a 50%...

He's using the warlord set, I believe. There's additional block rate and block reduce/chance in the gear and the set bonuses.

Your shield, in combo with the warlord set and block talent, should give 80% rate and 70% chance/reduce even at level 50 since you have higher block rate.

2H is still a better choice over 1H after this release?

Since now is possible to select both dmg bonus and block bonus in knowledge tree 1H seems much more powerfull than before.

I really dont know if i should keep my 2H build or change to 1H.
